みんなの声 What’s up?
I want to do bungee jump in my life. It may not be useful, but I want to experience something I can’t do in my life. Do you have something that you would like to try in your life? (Kenya)
Hi Kenya and thank you for your question. I think it’s exciting that you want to try something extraordinary, something that is not part of our everyday life.
In my case I always wanted to fly. I love flying and the closest I could be near my flying-passion was travelling by plane, till one day I decided to start learning how to drive a small airplane for two people. It took me a while to decide as many thoughts were keeping me back like if I will be able to do it, or if I am too old now to learn something like this etc. And then one day I was sitting in this small cessna aircraft with my instructor and a dream came true. I was almost literally in the seventh heaven. And the thought that I made it, that I was there, not dreaming anymore it was one of the best feelings I could have. I haven’t got my license yet, but hopefully one day I will have it.
For me, learning to fly was never about doing something useful, but it was fairly passion that the moment I start fulfilling it, it gave me the strength and the confidence to do all the other “useful” things I am doing in my life.
Go for your dream, do bungee jumping and you will find out that yes at the end it was useful, because every dream we manage to fulfil it enriches our lives and takes us a step further in our path. I think whatever we love is useful in this life.
Wishing you the best of luck and I hope you will enjoy every moment of bungee jumping.
I realized again the importance of dreaming and power of dreams. I didn’t feel like dreaming since I failed the college exam. But I found a new dream. It’s a dream that I want to realize a bungee jump. In addition, I want to find a bigger dream. I will find a dream and want to work hard in college life. I think your dream is very nice. It looks very fun and I think it has become a great force for the future.
If you have the opportunity someday, please tell me your impressions of the sky. I hope that your dream will come true, and that that dream will become a big force!
